After having a Christmas concert for several years, we decided to have an Easter concert as well, to give a pride of place to the biggest event in the liturgical year, and the greatest event in history- the Resurrection of Christ!
At Royalmont Academy, we follow the Orff Schulwerk philosophy of Music Education, which is a continual stirring of singing, dancing, acting, composing, harmonizing, and playing of the elemental instruments of the Orff Instrumentarium.
The result is a performance with percussion, guitar, movement and great singing.
Special thanks to Mrs. Lana and all the formators and volunteers who work so hard going above and beyond in pulling kindergartners through eighth graders together for this performance. (And kudos to Jack for performing with a fractured humerus!)
Danielle Bean, a mother of eight, is Editorial Director of Faith & Family Magazine. Pray. Act. Every Day.
Tickets for this unforgetable event are only $35, so bring your mom, your sisters, and your friends for a night out with an inspiring speaker and gourmet dessert.

One way we “strengthen the heart, mind, soul and will” is through positive discipline. Morning Assemblies happen 3 times a week. The whole school gathers for the awarding of “Blue Cards.” Basically, a blue card is like the opposite of detention, or punishment. Kids work hard to earn blue cards, because they know it’s a BIG deal.

Every year, several times a year, the ConQuest program hosts a ski retreat for boys.
On February 27th, 5 boys from Royalmont got to participate with boys from Indianapolis, Lexington and Dayton. The goal? To help form virtuous men. Of course, they played a lot of sports in the meantime.
