Walk Through History

Students choose a historical figure, research that person, write a paper, come up with a costume and then “act” out that character narrating a story about themselves.
Every space in the school is utilized as our sixth, seventh and eighth graders each “perform” their character’s speech multiple times each night to parents who get to choose which presentation they watch.
Some of the characters from history that were portrayed this year include Pope John Paul II, General George Patton, Betsy Ross, Amelia Earhart, Attila the Hun, Napoleon Bonaparte, Marco Polo and many, many more.

One way we “strengthen the heart, mind, soul and will” is through positive discipline. Morning Assemblies happen 3 times a week. The whole school gathers for the awarding of “Blue Cards.” Basically, a blue card is like the opposite of detention, or punishment. Kids work hard to earn blue cards, because they know it’s a BIG deal.

ConQuest Ski Retreat

Every year, several times a year, the ConQuest program hosts a ski retreat for boys.

On February 27th, 5 boys from Royalmont got to participate with boys from Indianapolis, Lexington and Dayton. The goal? To help form virtuous men. Of course, they played a lot of sports in the meantime.
